Hey guys!
Some of you may have already seen that I have launched one of the recent shoots on my portfolio, Fauna!
Fauna was a project that myself and fellow makeup artist, Chloe Anne Makeup had been planning since early March! The idea behind Fauna was to capture simplicity and natural beauty with some subtle twists.
Our original intention was to shoot Mid April early May...but low and behold Covid 19 struck. As you can imagine it initially dampened our plans, yet after a few silent sobs we decided it wouldn't affect our drive and passion to see it through once restrictions lifted!
The day finally came and It could not have been more beautiful! The sun came out and the flowers were in bloom, it was the perfect backdrop to compliment our concept.
For those who are curious, we decided to shoot at a local wildflower meadow in the pretty village of Stogumber Somerset. I couldn't recommend a visit enough!
So! Although we went through the grueling waiting game to make this shoot happen, it was certainly worth it especially as it was accepted and published with Flanelle magazine!
